About

I am a New England based photographer with many interests at the end of my lens. If I am not out at a folk music concert (not always shooting, but often), I may be found out on the ocean looking for whales. While not formally trained, I have learned a lot by shooting, doing, observing, and talking with other photographers. The best school is experience. Thanks for looking!

Over the years, I have accumulated photo credits in a variety of regional and national publications, some CD releases, and around the web. Publications include:

  • The Boston Globe
  • The New England Folk Almanac
  • Upper Valley Life Magazine
  • Kearsarge Magazine
  • Hanover Magazine
  • Acoustic Guitar Magazine
  • Performing Songwriter Magazine

CD credits include:

  • Eddie From Ohio – Three Rooms
  • Daring Angels
  • Brother Sun – Brother Sun

My equipment has included a Pentax K1000, a variety of Nikon bodies – including the N8008s, F100, and D90, a Holga, various plastic and Lomography cameras, a couple of point and shoots and now an iPhone 4. Good cameras can help, but it’s the eye that finds the shot.

Get out there and shoot, and most of all, have fun doing it!
